Our Strategy 

Sunflower Investment Group is in the business of acquiring, managing, and selling privately held self-storage facilities. Although all opportunities will be strongly considered, our main objective is to acquire self-storage facilities within the Central Texas market area that meet our size and performance criteria. We plan to enhance each facility with physical and operational upgrades as required so as to provide our customers a good value solution for their self-storage needs.

Where are we looking?

While we are always looking for the right facility no matter where it is located, our current focus is on the Central Texas area. 
 
We are actively searching in and around the Austin area and outlying areas that are no more than about 2 hours from Austin.
 
 
How are we going to do it?

Sunflower Investment Group plans to use a combination internal capital, money from private investors, and money from retirement accounts to fund our acquisitions.
 
In addition, we plan to leverage relationships with lenders who are familiar with and have expressed a desire to lend within the self-storage arena.  This includes local lenders as well as resources from the Small Business Administration.
 
Seller financing is always a great way to defer some of the gains as well as continue to enjoy interest cash flow after the sale of your facility.
